I'm a longtime lobster lover, but I had never actually tasted the "REAL THING" until a few years ago. My husband hales from Manchester, New Hampshire, and he had enjoyed this delicacy all of his life. He has the most gracious family that I've ever known, and his brother was kind enough to have live Maine lobster sent to my home in Tennessee, just because I had never had REAL lobster. I had always loved the sweet, succulent taste of lobster, but after I tasted MAINE lobster, what I had always loved, I now CRAVE! As a matter of fact, I was craving lobster tonight, and ALMOST stopped at the grocery store to purchase some earlier this evening. However, I KNEW that only MAINE LOBSTER would satisfy me now,so I decided to google Maine lobster to find a company that would ship to me,and that is how I discovered this website. So now I am a bit of a "LOBSTER SNOB", I suppose. But, if I have to be PICKY about something, I can't imagine ANYTHING better than insisting on MAINE LOBSTER-the "REAL" THING!!! ^_^

As a kid we'd vacation in Haverhill,Mass. My great grandfather would take us out to Salisbury Beach, NH to shop for live "lobstas" on the wharf.I'm not sure if he conned just me or also my geography-savy big brother with tales that those dinners were the "Maine lobstas that didn't mind their parents and ran away from home."

How could you not love Maine Lobster, I am an Aussie and been eating Lobster since I moved over here ten years ago, the only way to eat it is sliding the meat through white vinegar to get the tart then sweetness in your palate, I think melted butter kills some of the flavour, I can just taste it now with vinegar, nothing better...

I've always loved Lobster. Unfortunately I didn't know until I was like 18 when I finally got my lobster meal.

See, my parents used to love getting and cooking lobster, or ordering at a restaurant but us "kids" were never allowed to get it. In fact, many of the times when our parents got to feast on lobster at home, we had "hotdog" night for the kids >:(. This continued all through my teenage years and although I tried crab legs and of course shrimp (which I also love both of) it wasn't until my 18th birthday when they surprised me with a great lobster mean. And man was it great lol. Since then and since I have "grown up" I like to treat myself as often as I can but still don't get enough lobster.

I'd love to win the gift card so I can give a shot of preparing it myself and it's been long enough that it's time for more lobster :).

I made a post on my blog as well about the contest :)
